SCAG Racing has announced RCN Capital and Mobil 1 as associate sponsors for Justin Ashley’s SCAG Power Equipment Toyota Top Fuel dragster during the 2025 Mission Foods NHRA Drag Racing Series season. Both sponsorships aim to enhance the team’s performance and brand visibility throughout the racing season.

RCN Capital expands its partnership following its role as a major associate sponsor during the 2024 NHRA Carolina Nationals at zMAX Dragway. “We had the pleasure of partnering with SCAG Racing and Justin Ashley last year and are excited to commit our support again in 2025,” said Jeffrey Tesch, CEO of RCN Capital.

Tesch remarked that the partnership will help highlight the RCN Capital brand to new audiences. “We cannot wait to see Justin’s success throughout the 2025 NHRA Season,” he added.

Ashley expressed gratitude for the renewed partnership with RCN Capital. “As a former real estate investor, I can attest to the importance of RCN Capital’s unique ability to provide timely and effective financing for their clients,” he said. “It’s our goal to share this message with NHRA fans all across the country.”

In addition to RCN Capital, SCAG Racing has secured Mobil 1 as a primary associate sponsor for the upcoming season. ExxonMobil, the parent company of Mobil 1, has a long-standing relationship with Toyota Racing Development (TRD USA).

Mobil 1’s support has enabled Toyota drivers to achieve numerous championships across various racing disciplines. Ashley, whose SCAG Toyota Top Fuel team has competed for championships in the past four years, is keen to add to that legacy.

“At SCAG Racing, we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to partner with Mobil 1,” Ashley said. “Mobil 1 and its commitment to technology and innovation perfectly aligns with the standards of high performance we set for ourselves throughout the season.”

Brands and products from Mobil 1 will be prominently featured in the SCAG Racing pit area and on Ashley’s dragster, as well as on the team’s semi-trucks and Toyota Sequoia tow vehicle. Additionally, Ashley and his team will have access to Mobil 1 technology and communication with its engineers.

The 2025 Mission Foods NHRA Drag Racing series will commence with the NHRA Gatornationals at Gainesville Raceway from March 7-9. Both RCN Capital and Mobil 1 will debut their branding on Ashley’s car during the pre-season SCAG Power Equipment PRO Superstar Shootout, which takes place from February 6-9 at Bradenton Motorsports Park.

With both sponsors on board, SCAG Racing aims to leverage their support to enhance performance and achieve greater success in the upcoming racing season. As the team prepares for the challenges of the 2025 NHRA season, Ashley is focused on delivering results both on and off the track.
