The Professional Racers and Owners Organization (PRO) announced that Top Sportsman, Stock, and Super Stock classes will compete during the 2nd annual SCAG Power Equipment PRO Superstar Shootout. The event is scheduled for February 6-8, 2025, at Bradenton Motorsports Park.

FTI Performance Converters, owned by Funny Car driver Paul Lee, will sponsor the Top Sportsman class.

“FTI Performance Converters, a long-time supporter and sponsor of sportsman drag racers, is once again excited to sponsor and support our Top Sportsman customers for this special invitation-only race,” Lee said. “FTI Performance, based in nearby DeLand Florida, has a long history of promoting Top Sportsman drag racing, especially in the southeastern part of the United States. As a participant myself in the 2025 SCAG Power Equipment PRO Superstar Shootout, I’m looking forward to a fun week of drag racing with my fellow drag racers”.

Top racers from across the country will be invited to participate in the event. Bo Butner, a world champion driver and team owner, along with his wife Randi Lyn, will coordinate the Stock and Super Stock classes.

“Randi Lyn and I are proud to lead up organizing the Stock and Super Stock portion of the program,” Butner said. “Sportsman racing has always been close to our hearts, and being able to bring such a fun race to these guys and girls that pour so much into the sport is really a cool deal.”

Each class will have three qualifying runs and will utilize a unique chip draw system for establishing opponents during eliminations. More sponsor announcements are expected leading up to the event.

The PRO Superstar Shootout will include autograph sessions, driver Q&As, and other fan-friendly activities. The event will be broadcast on FloRacing, with open testing scheduled for Thursday, February 6. Tickets are available for purchase online.
