NHRA officials announced plans today for the 75th anniversary campaign in 2026, marking a historic milestone in the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series. The campaign will feature a special 75th anniversary logo, rings, and commemorative tickets, among other initiatives.
The campaign will celebrate 75 years of racing, honoring founder Wally Parks and the legends who contributed to NHRA’s history. Activities leading up to the anniversary season will begin throughout the 2025 campaign, starting at the NHRA Gatornationals from March 6-9 at Gainesville Raceway.
Among the items introduced are 75th anniversary rings, which will be given to fans who renew their tickets for the 2026 race. These rings will replicate those awarded to the world champions of the Mission Foods Drag Racing Series in 2026.
Fans can also purchase special commemorative tickets for 2026 events. Additionally, the NHRA will introduce a unique 75th anniversary Wally trophy for all race winners during the 2026 season.
A documentary on NHRA founder Wally Parks will debut in 2026. The NHRA plans to release a Top 75 Driver List, echoing the Top 50 Driver List from the 50th anniversary season, along with a hardcover coffee table book detailing the NHRA’s history.
