NHRA has launched its “Summer Kickoff” license transfer program, allowing racers to switch their licenses from other sanctioning bodies at a discounted rate during June. This program applies to one and two-year licenses.
Transferring an NHRA license enables competitors to race at over 110 NHRA Member Tracks in North America and participate in the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series and E.T. Series. Licenses come with several benefits, including excess medical insurance coverage of $600,000 at Member Tracks, an official NHRA Competition License Card, and exclusive discounts with NHRA partners.
Additional perks include 25% off NHRA.tv, which streams live drag racing events, and access to NHRA National Dragster Magazine online. Following a recent announcement of a substantial purse increase for the upcoming World Championship later this year in Las Vegas, NHRA highlights this moment as an ideal opportunity for racers to engage with their local tracks.
The June discount license transfer program offers racers a chance to join the largest sanctioning body in drag racing, which will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2026. “This is a tremendous opportunity for racers to experience NHRA Drag Racing and compete against the best in the world,” NHRA Sportsman Manager Jason Galvin said.
For more details, racers can download the license transfer coupon and find NHRA Member Tracks online at www.NHRA.com.
