After a six-year hiatus, the “Rev n Roll” fundraiser benefiting Riley Children’s Foundation will return to the PRI schedule on Dec. 10 in Indianapolis. The bowling event, once considered an unofficial kickoff to PRI week, last took place in 2019 before being halted by the pandemic.

This year’s event is scheduled for 6-9 p.m. at Western Bowl on West Washington Street. Indianapolis-area motorsports supporters Mike Lewis and Hali Warnick are leading its revival with help from JCM Racing.

“This was such a fun event that everyone looked forward to every year,” said Lewis, vice president of JCM Racing. “Hali, Donna Fischer and I worked on this event together for so many years, and we all have such fond memories of Riley Kids and the racers, it was important to us to try and get it rolling again.”

Warnick, now Human Resources Director at Evolve Transporters, said the group has rented out all 80 lanes and hopes to fill the venue. “We’re calling upon the local motorsports community to come out that Wednesday night, have some fun, and support a great cause,” she said.

Lane reservations are $200 for a group of four or $50 for individuals. Registration is available at give.rileykids.org/revnrollforriley, with 100 percent of proceeds benefitting Riley. Funds will also be raised through an online silent auction.

“We are so excited that Mike and Hali have personally taken it upon themselves to bring back this event,” Fischer said. “Riley families who have participated in the past were very excited to hear about the return.”
Joe and PJ Maynard, owners of JCM Racing, said their team wanted to help continue Riley’s tradition of community support. “Our priorities when it comes to philanthropy are working with organizations that support children and families, and veterans,” said Joe Maynard. “It’s a great event and a fun way for the local racing community and their families to come together for a night and support a meaningful cause.”
