Weldon High Performance announced an expansion of its NHRA contingency program to include three classes in the Mission Foods Series for the 2025 season. This initiative reflects Weldon’s long-standing commitment to the NHRA drag racing community and builds on its support of the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series.
Â
The NHRA and Weldon High Performance aim to support racers and increase participation in the sport. The expanded program will now pay Winner and Runner-up Contingency in Competition Eliminator, Factory Stock Showdown, and Factory X, offering financial recognition for racers using Weldon fuel pumps and system products.
Â
“We are thrilled to expand our involvement in NHRA racing and provide our loyal race customers with new opportunities to earn Contingency,” said Weldon High Performance’s Racing Products Manager, Jim Craig.
Â
John McClure, Vice President and General Manager of Weldon Pump, emphasized the company’s steadfast commitment to NHRA drag racers who have relied on Weldon components over the years.
Â
Weldon High Performance is recognized for its high-quality fuel pumps, regulators, and system components, which have supported numerous championship-winning racers across various classes. The expansion of its contingency support aims to honor the achievements and dedication of NHRA racers.
