Sienna Wildgust is shifting her racing trajectory in 2026, announcing a move from Pro Stock into Pro Modified as she joins her family’s program in the Canadian Pro Mod ranks. The former Pro Stock competitor confirmed the transition through social media, marking a return to her roots in a family-operated effort.
The move represents both a competitive reset and a personal milestone for Wildgust, who previously balanced her rise through the Pro Stock ranks while managing academic responsibilities and adapting to one of drag racing’s most technical categories. Her development years in Pro Stock established a foundation built on discipline, adaptability, and patience.
Now, the focus turns to a new challenge in a vastly different category. Pro Modified demands a different driving style, increased power management, and a steep learning curve that Wildgust is embracing as part of a long-term plan.
“I’m incredibly proud to officially announce that for the 2026 season, I’ll be back with the Wildgust family racing as we take on an exciting new chapter,” Wildgust said. “This year, I’ll be driving Pro Modified and competing in the Canadian Pro Mod series. The focus for this season is all about getting comfortable in the car, gaining valuable seat time, and adapting to everything that comes with stepping into this new level.”
Her approach underscores a measured strategy rather than immediate results. This season is positioned as a developmental year, with an emphasis on refining performance and building consistency.
“It’s a learning and development year where we will be working hard to refine our setup, build consistency, and grow my confidence behind the wheel,” she said.
That transition is anchored by a return to a familiar structure. Wildgust will race with her father serving as tuner and crew chief, restoring a dynamic that shaped her earliest experiences in the sport.
“What makes this return especially significant is the opportunity to race together as a family again,” Wildgust said. “Having my dad tuning, making the crew chief calls, and leading the program feels incredibly full circle.”
The reunion carries both competitive and emotional significance. For Wildgust, it reconnects her with the foundation that introduced her to drag racing and helped guide her through the early stages of her career.
“I’ve grown up surrounded by his knowledge, instincts, and passion for the sport, and to share the track with him again is something I don’t take lightly,” she added. “Racing together again simply feels right. It feels like home.”
Her support system extends beyond the cockpit and tuning decisions. Wildgust pointed to her mother as a central figure in her career progression.
“Equally important to this journey is my mom, who has always been my steady foundation,” she said. “From the earliest days of my racing career, she has been the constant support behind the scenes—keeping everything organized, keeping me grounded, and standing by me through every high and low.”
That family-first structure mirrors the broader team environment surrounding the program. Wildgust emphasized that her return is supported by a collective effort that extends beyond immediate family.
“I’m also incredibly grateful for our crew, our extended racing family, and our community back home who continue to show up, lend a hand, and offer encouragement,” she said. “Racing is never an individual effort.”
The transition also carries the backing of returning partners, reinforcing confidence in the program’s direction. Continuity in sponsorship provides stability as the team navigates a new category.
“To our partners who have chosen to continue with us into this next chapter—thank you,” Wildgust said. “Your trust and commitment mean more to me than I can put into words.”
As she prepares for her Pro Modified debut, Wildgust framed the upcoming season as a process-driven campaign rather than a results-based benchmark. The emphasis remains on growth, experience, and long-term progression.
“The 2026 season is about growth, development, gratitude, and passion,” she said. “It’s about embracing the process, putting in the work, and appreciating every opportunity to strap into the car and compete.”
That mindset reflects a racer who understands the demands of climbing through drag racing’s ranks. It also signals a driver willing to reset expectations in pursuit of sustained success.
“I’m excited for what lies ahead, proud of where I come from, and honored to be doing this alongside the people who mean the most to me,” Wildgust said.
