Peter Biondo and Kyle Seipel’s Spring Fling brand of events have been attracting racers from every part of the country. In 2016, the Spring Fling Million held in Las Vegas alone attracted racers representing 40 states and three countries competing for a chance at the huge Spring Fling payouts. Now with the expansion to three events in 2017, the Spring Fling is getting more attention than ever before.
 
Sparco Safety equipment and Optima Batteries took notice of the popularity of the ‘Fling events as both companies along with K&N Filters, have now signed up as the title rights sponsors for 2017.
 
“Peter and I try to partner up with companies that have the same vision as we do,” says Kyle Seipel. “We cater to bracket racers and they are the star of the show. Sparco and Optima realize that bracket racers are the grassroots of drag racing and want to give back to them.”
 
Sparco will hold the title rights sponsor for the new “Sparco Fall Fling” to take place in Bristol, Tennessee in September. A company well known for quality, Sparco’s lightweight suits have been the leader in SFI-5 and SFI-15 fire suits among bracket racers for the last decade. According to Biondo, the signage makes perfect sense. “Sparco’s largest customer base is bracket racing,” Biondo said. “They understand their customers and as such want to continue to showcase their name and products in front of the huge Fall Fling audience.”
 
Optima Batteries also stepped up big for bracket racers in 2017 by signing up for all three ‘Fling events as the presenting sponsor. Each of the three events will now showcase “presented by Optima Batteries” as part of the title. Optima is well known in every racing circuit for their reliability and quality in racing batteries and battery chargers.   
 
With these events growing in popularity, it’s no surprise quality companies like K&N, Sparco and Optima join forces with the Spring and Fall Fling events.
