Shortly after announcing his departure from Jim Head Racing, Blake Alexander revealed that he will partner with Chad Green Motorsports in 2025.

“I am excited to continue my career as a professional,” said Blake. “Partnering with CGM is a family decision for me. Five years ago, Leah and I sold our funny car team to Chad [Green] and they have flourished,” Alexander said. “I am proud of Joe Serena and Dean Marinis, finishing a best of 5th overall in 2023 and am looking forward to working with them again. Going forward, I’m excited to have a larger say in the competition side of racing. I will get to mentor a younger driver, give new crew members a shot, and still compete against the best in NHRA. Also, importantly, we will continue to give our sponsors the NHRA experience across the US.”

Alexander confirmed he will continue his sponsorship from Pronto Auto Service Center at most of the races on the 2025 tour.

Alexander is the 18th driver in NHRA history to hold wins in both Top Fuel and Funny Car categories. His most recent victory came at the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals in Brainerd, Minn.

“I have been working with The Pronto Network now for a decade and appreciate everyone’s commitment to supporting the Pronto Nitro Club promo nationwide,” Alexander said.
