You’ll see Raymond Beadle, Denny Savage, Billy Meyer, Roy Hill, Lee Shepherd, Darrell Alderman and Rickie Smith just to name a few of the IHRA personalities. Both videos offer full sportsman final rounds and in those races are some well-known personalities who went on to professional careers.

The 1983 episode features the Top Fuel division in addition to the Funny Cars and Pro Stockers. A year later it was only the floppers and the mountain motor Pro Stockers since the IHRA dropped the dragster division.

Set aside two hours, but the time spent is well worth it.
