Travel back in time to an era when iconic Funny Car racer Billy Meyer ushered in a new era of all-concrete drag strips. The Texas Motorplex made it's NHRA debut in 1986 with the Chief Auto Parts Nationals, and the results were incredible. The event marked the NHRA's return to the Dallas area for the first time since the 1970s.
