The American Drag Racing League (ADRL) has unveiled a new Internet-based television channel.
On Thursday, the world’s premier eighth-mile drag racing league officially announced the launch of www.ADRL.TV, a video-based website from Tyrant Productions that features extensive video coverage of the 2012 ADRL season and serves as the perfect compliment to the ADRL’s free live online broadcasts of each race.

Peter Ridgeway, an Australian Pro Stock racer, etched his name in drag racing history on May 6.
Ridgeway recorded Australia’s first six second run, a 6.997sec elapsed time during the ANDRA Pro Series Nitro Champs at Sydney Dragway. Australian Pro Stockers run a 400-cubic inch displacement.

ADRL Pro Mod driver Ray Commisso was uninjured in a spectacular, fiery crash against the left wall at Maple Grove Raceway May 4, during first-round qualifying for the ADRL Northeast Drags II presented by Penske.
Starting from the right lane, Commisso’s ’68 Camaro went into tire shake about 100 feet out before suddenly veering left and passing behind Ed Wilson and his ’41 Willys in the left lane to hit the wall head-on almost exactly at the 330-foot halfway point of the eight-mile course.
