LEGENDS: THE SERIES PREVIEW - THE LEGEND OF DAVE WALLACE

Dave Wallace Jr. was there to see drag racing grow from the glory years, and then chronicle what he saw for decades to come. He never won a drag racing championship, nor did he field a drag racing team, but what he did in so many ways made him invaluable to growth of drag racing.

Wallace was a writer and an editor, and absolutely one of the best the sport has had. Though he helped to usher in the golden age of drag racing journalism in printed magazines, he's also been around to watch the internet grow into a viable media source.

This is a preview for an episode you don't want to miss from a man who was there from nearly the start.

A JAKE SIMMONS CINEMA - THE BEAUTY OF DRAG RACING DOWN UNDER

Drag racing in Australia is a thing of beauty. Long after the race winners were presented, records reported and incidents chronicled, there remains hours and hours of footage. Leave it to our lead videographer Jake Simmons to study the footage and present angles and visuals we often take for granted. It's the Thunder 400 Winter Nationals at Willowbank Raceway, the largest national event drag race held outside of the United States, and its splendor.

VIDEO FEATURE - SMALL TIRE CAR WITH A BIG TIME CONNECTION

J.D. Campbell has always wanted to tell his story, and today he gets his chance. He's no professional drag racer, nor is his race car at the top of the food chain of the straight-line sport. Campbell is a second-generation drag racer who followed in the footsteps of his father, and follows the inspiration to the letter of the law. Here's his story, we think you will enjoy hearing it as much as we've enjoyed bringing it.

However, the 1996 loss of Blaine Johnson is as tough of a gut punch as drag racing has ever experienced.
