Pro Extreme racer Wesley Jones took a ride on the wild side during Friday qualifying on Friday night at the PDRA Spring Nationals. On a run where Mike Recchia suffered a severe supercharger explosion, Jones lost control at the finish line and impacted the retaining wall. He was alert, conscious and talking to medical personnel before being transported to Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC. He returned to the track on Saturday morning.
