The NHRA took part in the annual NASCAR Media tour with a captive motorsports media audience on January 19, 2016, at zMax Dragway in Concord, NC. The main topic of the NHRA's presentation was the new television package with Fox Sports, as well as other key changes to the series. NHRA Media front man Terry Blount was joined by series president Peter Clifford, as well as multi-time champions Antron Brown and John Force. New Fox analyst Tony Pedregon took part in the presentation as well.
The presentation is about 15 minutes long but provides plenty of insight to the assets NHRA fans should expect from the new package. Additionally there's a good bit of comedic relief from Force and Brown.
