I am an avid drag race fan and participant.  I'm a long term NHRA member.  To the IHRA: Once more you've demonstrated that you have the racer and fan in mind over profits.  Your decision was innovative, courageous and unselfish.  My membership application and dues are on the way!  To the NHRA:  Wake up!  We, your grass roots support base, race in this format every week.  Sometimes multiple times in a week.  Most of your tracks are 1/8th mile and you have some wonderful 1/8th mile venues.  Be the leader that you claim to be.  To Competition Plus:  Thank you for supporting the racers and fans as you do! - Scott Bridges, Clarksville, Tenn.
