FEEDBACK ARTICLE - BRISTOL DRAGWAY'S JEFF BYRD SPEAKS
We too were disappointed in the cancellation of the race this week...we had a lot of clients, employees and potential sponsors primed to come to Thunder Valley...for the best race of the year. It is a set back for everyone, however, I have known Jeff Byrd for many years and he certainly would have only the racers and fans in mind from a safety standpoint...They did the right thing....Back the day Bristol opened in the 60's I happened to be working with Buster on the starting line and asphalt was coming up then and pelting the bottom of the timing tower...that too was dangerous but we got through it without incident...Just lucky I guess....keep up the good work. - Jerry Coley
