STRANGE 2005-PRESENT 9” MUSTANG BOLT-IN REAR END

Mustrgb2005rearStrange Engineering, Morton Grove Illinois, introduces housings and complete 9” bolt-in replacement rear ends for 2005-present Mustangs to the public. Strange is the chosen rear end manufacturer for Ford Racing’s Cobra Jet Mustang program- including the new 2010 Cobra Jet. The Strange housing maintains a traditional look, but with significant increases in strength.

The housing features a reinforced faceplate, 3.250” OD tubes, a unique slotted design to allow for full tube engagement and greater weld contact area that significantly reduces tube and housing flex. The Strange 9” housing provides a better foundation than fabricated bolt-in rears, which leads to optimizing gear life and performance. The rear end features genuine Ford brackets for an exacting fit. The upper control arm mount is manufactured by Strange from billet steel to accept the factory bushing and is reinforced inside the housing by custom welded ribs.

Each rear end is built to suit your needs, thus custom lengths and a wide array of options are available- for Street, Street/Track or Drag Racing. Complete Strange 9” bolt-in rear ends include Lucas oil and are an unsurpassed value. Strange Engineering offers a complete line of c-clip eliminator kits, c-clip axles, racing, street/track axles and complete “bolt-in” rear ends for several Ford applications.
