Powermaster Performance has recently developed an upgraded tech help bulletin for choosing the correct alternator for street rod, muscle car, and street machine applications.

This one page, detailed quick guide helps customers evaluate their vehicle demands and select the proper alternator based on those demands as well as vehicle use.  While the automotive enthusiast has long used the saying; “more is better”, Powermaster believes that each vehicle has its’ own specific requirements. Careful selection of the proper alternator can save both time and money for any hot rodder and ensure the best possible performance out of their charging system.

Also included on the technical bulletin are guidelines for selecting the proper pulleys to ensure proper output throughout the RPM range.  Pulley ratio math is included to help users determine what they have, or what they need to get the most out of their alternator.
