There's no doubt Scotty Cannon left an indelible mark on the Pro Modified division. The six-time champion of the sport's most volatile doorslammers was the first in many categories, including the first to win championships with two different power adders and the first to win four consecutive championships, among many accolades. 

Cannon was also the first Pro Modified driver to be inducted into the International Drag Racing Hall of Fame and North Carolina Drag Racing Hall of Fames. He is also enshrined in the Bristol Dragway Legends of Thunder Valley. 

Some call the blue-collar drag racer out of Lyman, SC, the GOAT. In sports terminology, this means the Greatest of All Time.
