WORLD FOOTBRAKE CHALLENGE iii PRE-ENTRY DEADLINE A MONTH AWAY

The 2009 edition of the BTE World Footbrake Challenge comes to Bristol Dragway (Bristol, TN) July 17-19, 2009. The event, which annually posts one of the largest purses and greatest race atmospheres for Footbrake competitors promises to be bigger and better than ever. In an effort to cater to the average competitor in these tough economic times, the $50,000-to-win main event (and the large entry fee that accompanied it) is a thing of the past. In it’s place, the World Footbrake Challenge will host a trio of $10,000-to-win events, with a weekend entry fee of just $350 (if pre-entered by June 1). Tech cards will also be available to participants who are not pre-entered, at a cost of $150 per day. As has been a staple of the World Footbrake Challenge, there will continue to be just one round of buy backs in competition, helping to not only speed up the program, but also to keep costs to a minimum for the participants. Another tradition of the BTE World Footbrake Challenge is great payback and round money: which starts each day with $100 for each 3rd round winner.

For the hi-rollers, this years event will still feature a huge payday over and above the daily $10,000-to-win events. A special WFC Shootout will be held Saturday morning. The Shootout is a $1,000-to-enter 64-car tournament for a whopping $30,000-to-win. Strong payback in this event starts with 2nd round winners. Spots are filling quickly for the WFC Shootout; call Coalburg Racing as soon as possible to make sure you don’t get left out!

The 2009 edition of the BTE World Footbrake Challenge will feature a variety of added incentives, and product giveaways supplied by a host of great contributing sponsors. Those partners include Bill Taylor Enterprises, Advanced Product Design, ThisIsBracketRacing.com, Advanced Wireless Technology, K&N Filters, JEGS, Mickey Thompson Tires, Reese Hitches, TrailerToad.com, Nitroplate, and Huntsville Engine & Performance Center.
