JOHN FORCE RACING TO SUPPORT BOGART FOUNDATION STARTING IN DENVER

Beginning with the 30th annual MOPAR Mile High NHRA Nationals in Denver, John Force Racing will be supporting the Los Angeles-based Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Program with specialty decals on their quartet of Ford Mustang Funny Cars. The decals will help raise awareness for an organization where John Force Racing's outside general counsel, Michael Sherman, serves on the Board of Directors.

“Michael brought this foundation to my attention and I thought it was really doing some great work. This kind of cancer, the kind that attacks kids, really gets me. We see a lot of kids and families at the races that have been affected by cancer. If putting a decal on my Ford Mustangs will help them get more attention and maybe some more donations then that is the least I can do,” said John Force, President and Owner of John Force Racing, Inc.

“We are talking with Bogart about doing something more than just the decals, too. I know my girls Ashley, Brittany and Courtney have talked about going and touring the facility and visiting some of the kids soon,” added Force.

"I became involved with the Bogart Program after my own daughter, Dr. Courtney Sherman, was a summer Medical School intern in the pediatric brain cancer program at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. The work done at the Bogart Laboratories is inspiring and I am so excited that John Force Racing has joined the Bogart team to help kids beat pediatric cancer," Sherman said.

The Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Program raises vital funds to support early stage pediatric cancer research at the Bogart laboratories located at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. These funds are matched many times over by government and private dollars to allow the maximum support for this important research. The Bogart Program is dedicated to supporting "bench to bedside" research to find cures and treatments for these diseases and to enhancing the quality of life of the children who survive them.
