Race fans are invited to take part in two very special events to honor Medlen’s memory. The race weekend is July 24-26.

3rd Annual Eric Medlen Ice Cream Social

Infineon Raceway will host the 3rd annual Eric Medlen Ice Cream Social, which will take place on the racing surface following the final eliminations on Sunday, July 26. Medlen was a lover of ice cream, and the raceway has teamed up with Dreyer’s Ice Cream to make this event possible. Each fan will be treated to a free scoop! Fans are also encouraged to donate whatever they can to Speedway Children’s Charities, which will be passed along to Sonoma County youth groups in Medlen’s name.

Eric Medlen Nitro Night at the Fior
Infineon Raceway will host the 3rd annual Eric Medlen Nitro Night at the Fior Charity Dinner on Thursday, July 23, at the Fior d’Italia restaurant in San Francisco. Medlen attended the inaugural event in 2006. NHRA drivers Ashley Force Hood, Morgan Lucas and Jack Beckman will attend the event, which will be hosted by long-time NHRA announcer Bob Frey. All proceeds benefit Speedway Children’s Charities, the charitable arm of Infineon Raceway, in Medlen’s name. To reserve your spot, call Denise Silver at 707-933-3950 or email at dsilver@infineonraceway.com .
