Four drivers in the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series will be serving up plenty of smiles for Indianapolis-area McDonald’s patrons during the week leading up to the Mac Tools U.S. Nationals presented by Lucas Oil. Top Fuel veteran Cory McClenathan, Top Fuel points leader Antron Brown, Funny Car star Ashley Force Hood and Pro Stock Motorcycle points leader Eddie Krawiec will be the featured drivers visiting local McDonald’s restaurants during the promotion.

In addition to meeting some of their NHRA heroes during the McDonald’s appearances, fans can receive a $7 discount on any adult general-admission ticket for the event at O’Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis, Sept. 2-7.

In addition to meeting some of their NHRA heroes during the McDonald’s appearances, fans can receive a $7 discount on any adult general-admission ticket for the event at O’Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis, Sept. 2-7.

From now until race weekend, customers can pick up a collector’s-edition cup featuring Castrol GTX Ford Mustang Funny Car driver Force Hood at any of the 155 Indianapolis McDonald’s restaurants participating in the special NHRA promotion. Bring the must-have cup to the O’Reilly Raceway Park box office and receive discounted admission to the world’s most prestigious drag race.

“I’m really excited to be doing the promotion with McDonald’s for the Mac Tools U.S. Nationals,” Force Hood said. “I think it’s great that fans can get a Coca-Cola and a race coupon all in one lunch stop. Our John Force Racing race shop is in Brownsburg, Ind., right down the street from the racetrack and a McDonald’s, so I’m sure I’ll get lots of funny texts and calls from my crew during their lunch break telling me they are drinking a Coca-Cola with my face on it.

“If that’s what it takes to get fans out to the track and into the drag race action, then I’m proud to do it. I look forward to seeing everyone out there at the races and also at their local McDonald’s.”
