“We paid $50,000-to-win once and that was the largest before,” said Howard. “This is going to be a large payday for someone out there.”

In Outlaw 10.5, if a racer attends all six races and places in the top sixteen of point earners, they will qualify for the sixteen car shootout. The prize at the end of the day, a cool $100,000, winner take all check.

Howard confirmed that in addition to the Outlaw 10.5 class that he’ll offer an Outlaw Pro Mod division sponsored by Dart, Outlaw Limited Street, and Goodyear Drag Radial. There will also be indexed racing with 5.30, 6.00 and 7.00 indexes.

The Outlaw 10.5 and Limited Street classes will compete under ORSCA rules with a special twist.

“They don’t allow stickers and we will allow you to advertise your sponsors,” Howard added. “That only helps the racer.”

Each class will feature a $5,000 prize to the point champions. In addition to the monetary prize, the class winners will qualify for a drawing to receive a brand new Mustang.

Howard hasn’t officially released his schedule yet, but did confirm that he’s planning races at his Holly Springs Motorsports Park [Holly Springs, Miss.], Bristol Dragway, Piedmont Dragway [Greensboro, NC] and possibly Palm Beach International [Jupiter, Fla] and zMax Dragway [Concord, NC].

In addition to the tremendous racing expected to transpire, Hill will bring his famous Roy Hill’s Drag Racing School along for classes following each big race.
