“Don Schumacher Racing and Ron Capps are true professionals and great ambassadors for the NAPA brand both on and off the track,” commented Bob Susor, NAPA President, “We are pleased to announce our continued partnership and look forward to a promising 2010 season.”

"Any time it's announced that a sponsor has extended or renewed its commitment it's such a big deal," said Capps, 30-time national-event champion in 61 final rounds since going pro in 1995, "especially in today's economy. NAPA has done so much for our sport, with the commercials, the ads, and all the in-house promotions they do with their stores. With the number of NAPA stores around the country, it just makes it that much more exciting to be able to represent a company like that."

The 2010 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series begins its 23-event schedule with the season-opening event in Pomona, Calif., on Feb. 11-14.
