NHRA has unveiled its rules supplement for NHRA Unleashed, an experience unlike any other, both on and off the track. The Pure American Horsepower event debuts June 11-13 at Atlanta Dragway.

NHRA has unveiled its rules supplement for NHRA Unleashed, an experience unlike any other, both on and off the track. The Pure American Horsepower event debuts June 11-13 at Atlanta Dragway.

The 2010 NHRA Unleashed rules supplement is available here. Racers in all categories will compete for the coveted NHRA Wally trophy and bragging rights among their peers.

Classes scheduled to compete at NHRA Unleashed events include Outlaw 10.5, Limited Street, EZ Street, Modified Street, and 8.5, 10.0, 11.0, 12.0, and 13.0 index classes. These are the cars that race at every dragstrip across the nation and are the backbone of drag racing. They include a wide variety of muscle cars, compact cars, trucks, and even station wagons. A high-octane addition to the track excitement will be exhibition Pro Mod cars.

Complementing the activities on the track will be vast a manufacturers’ midway with a number of national and local sponsorship exhibits and interactive displays, Kids Zone, automotive swap meet and seminars, autocross, car show, and the NHRA Unleashed Center Stage.

NHRA and Disrupt/ive Studios plan to announce a television partner for the four events soon.
