MMPSA CONTINGENCY EXPANDS WITH BRASWELL CARBURETORS AND SONNY’S RACING ENGINES

Drag racing manufacturers have long supported the Mountain Motor cause, and many are excited for the formation of a strictly mountain motor entity. Such is the case as two more companies join the MMPSA contingency program.

Braswell Carburetors has been an innovative leader in Mountain Motor performance, so it is only fitting that they now come on board as a contingency sponsor with the MMPSA. Dave Braswell is constantly hard at work to improve quality and performance of his carburetors and Doug Schriefer is often seen in the Pro Stock pits, lending a hand and advice to customers.

The MMPSA is excited to welcome Braswell Carburetors to the program, as well as prominent engine builder, Sonny’s Racing Engines.

With over 40 years of experience in racing engines, Sonny’s name has become synonymous with Mountain Motors. Having been a long support of Pro Stock racers, Sonny’s Racing Engines has launched programs such as the Sonny’s 200 MPH Club, the ADRL Extreme Pro Stock 3-Second Club, and more. Now, Sonny’s Racing Engines is now excited to be part of the MMPSA.

“The Pro Stock 800+ cubic inch engines have always been a crowd pleaser. When people hear ‘Pro Stock’ both the 500 inch guys and the Mountain Motors come to mind, but I think if they were both racing at the track, the fans would prefer Mountain Motor cars 3 to 1 over 500 inch competitors.

“The Mountain Motor racers are very professional and highly competitive. I think they will do very well with their program. I’ve always been a huge supporter of the Mountain Motor division and will continue to do so.”
