Located in the pavilion behind the John Force Grandstand, adjacent to the staging lanes, zMAX Fan Fest provides a look back at some of drag racing's classic machines, and is free with the purchase of a ticket to the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals.

The display will feature more than 10 nostalgia dragsters, including a 1960 Vintage Junior Fuel Front Engine Dragster, an original 1933 Ford Coupe and a 1978 Corvette Alcohol Funny Car, and will be located in the pavilion throughout the weekend.

In addition to the nostalgia dragsters on display, rock band, SPEED X, will be performing a concert on Saturday in between the two rounds of pro qualifying action. The band is comprised of veteran rockers Nick Catanese and Mike Stone on guitar, Mike Froedge on drums, Joshua Sattler on bass and newcomer Jason Fowler on vocals and guitar.

SPEED X's music is fresh and built for speed. The five self-professed adrenaline junkies will be performing songs from their brand new album FLATBLACK, scheduled to be released in early March.

Autograph sessions will take place on Friday and Saturday featuring some of NHRA's top drivers including Tony Schumacher, Antron Brown, Ron Capps, Cory McClenathan, Jack Beckman and Matt Hagan.

Not only will dragsters be on display during zMAX Fan Fest, but race vehicles representing every major racing series to compete at Charlotte Motor Speedway during the Spring Season of Speed will be located throughout the manufactures midway. The display will include a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stock car, a NASCAR Nationwide Series stock car, a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series truck, a World of Outlaws late model and sprint car and a Monster Truck.

Speedway Children's Charities will be participating in the weekend's festivities as they team up with Doug Herbert's foundation, B.R.A.K.E.S., to present the inaugural Racing Memorabilia Charity Auction. The auction will be held on Saturday and all proceeds will benefit Speedway Children's Charities and B.R.A.K.E.S.

Among the items up for bid will be the rear tire of a Pro Stock Car autographed by some of NHRA's biggest stars, including 14-time NHRA Funny Car Champion, John Force; Top Fuel drivers Antron Brown and Larry Dixon; and all four 2009 NHRA Carolinas Nationals winners, Hector Arana, Mike Edwards, Robert Hight and Cory McClenathan, among others.

Other items include a Simpson helmet autographed by NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers; a meet and greet for two with NHRA Top Fuel competitor, Doug Herbert; and an autographed Antron Brown die-cast Top Fuel Dragster.

zMAX Fan Fest hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. Witness history March 25-28 at the Bellagio of drag strips, when all four NHRA professional divisions run four-wide all weekend long.
