Orangeburg Drag Strip, known in racing circles as "Gator Alley", will have a two test this Friday [March 6] and Saturday. The track has a reputation for having plenty of grip and a wide racing surface and this weekend promises to be the same. Orangeburg Drag Strip to host a two day test and tune this Friday and Saturday

Orangeburg Drag Strip, known in racing circles as "Gator Alley", will have a two test this Friday [March 6] and Saturday. The track has a reputation for having plenty of grip and a wide racing surface and this weekend promises to be the same. Buddy Boozer along with the knowledgeable staff will have the track in great shape.

If anyone needs to test for the season opening races, this will be a great opportunity to get some laps on your car. This test is expected to draw racers from the east coast and as far south as Florida, as well as several heavy hitters from all classes of drag racing.

The gates open at 11:00 each day with testing starting at 12:00 and will be open until 5:00. The test and tune fee is $30.00 for car and driver. General admission is $10.00 each day. Anyone that comes in Friday can stay the night. The Orangeburg Drag Strip Staff looks forward to seeing everyone there.
