Last week, reigning NHRA Competition Eliminator National Champion Bruno Massel JR was notified that WyoTech would not continue as primary QJ9Y05692asponsor after the 2010 season.

“We’ve had a successful association with WyoTech for the past nine years and while I’m disappointed that our relationship is coming to an end, I’m grateful for the opportunity I’ve had to represent them,” stated Massel.

“With our racing season really getting into full swing this month, we are going to do our best to send WyoTech out on top.  We’ve had associate sponsors Royal Purple motor oil and National Beverage Screenprinters really step up their involvement this year and I don’t want to let them down.”

The search to fill the sponsorship void that WyoTech is leaving won’t be easy, but Massel is cautiously optimistic.  “With the long standing relationships that we’ve developed over the years, the success we’ve had on the track and the co-branding opportunities available through my television show “TruckU” on SPEED, we bring a lot to the table.  Now it’s just about finding the right opportunity.”

Bruno’s racing plans for 2011 are subject to finding the proper funding to compete.  “If we can’t secure a primary sponsor for 2011, someone will be able to purchase one heck of a turn-key racing operation.  I just hope it doesn’t come to that, I think my dad (and crew chief) still has the desire to do this and I feel like I’m just getting started.”
