VP Racing Fuels will be serving up the octane for what promises to be among the largest drag racing events in North Texas.

The inaugural TEXA$ 250K, an event scheduled for Halloween weekend at Dallas Raceway, will deliver a potential $250,000 for the winner.
 
The event begins on October 28 and runs through October 31, 2010 includes a 64-car shootout worth $10,000 to the winner with another $10,000 on the line Friday.  If 500 or more cars are entered Saturday, they’ll be racing to win a $250,000 prize. Sunday’s action will include the chance to win $5000 plus contingency from a number of companies that have stepped up, including Mickey Thompson Tires, Brodix Cylinder Heads, Advanced Product Design and others.

In addition to the drag racing competition on Thursday, Scotty Richardson’s Drag Racing School will conduct a class, including a 32-car S/Pro race for the students.
