The Drag Racing Association of Women recently named team owner Kenny Koretsky its Person of Year.  The award goes to someone who supports the volunteer organization and its programs to assist injured drag racers. 

The Drag Racing Association of Women recently named team owner Kenny Koretsky its Person of Year.  The award goes to someone who supports the volunteer organization and its programs to assist injured drag racers.   

Koretsky, a multifaceted business owner from Richboro, Pa., has been involved in NHRA drag racing as a driver and team owner for more than 25 years.  His Nitro Fish Ultimate Gear sponsors Greg Stanfield in the Pro Stock category and LE Tonglet in Pro Stock Motorcycle in the Full Throttle Drag Racing Series.

“That was a real surprise,” said Koretsky.  “I was overwhelmed, and I thank DRAW for the honor. I believe in DRAW and the work they do. They were there for me when I was injured in an accident in Dallas in 2005

DRAW has been there since 1984 to provide financial and/or emotional support to injured drag racers in every racing category and all drag racing sanctioning bodies.
