Glidden's camp reports that although he suffered a bump to the head, Glidden was released from the hospital and is doing well.

Glidden's camp reports that although he suffered a bump to the head, Glidden was released from the hospital and is doing well.

"Bob is back at the hotel, he came out of the hospital this morning and took a shower, and he's resting," said Cunningham. "He was tired, but he's going to be alright. He's ornery as ever; I thought they'd have to knock him out this morning to calm him down because he wanted to get the heck out of the hospital. I think he'll be back out here [this weekend]. I'm surprised he hasn't caught a ride to get here already. But he's good, and he's going to be great."

GLIDDEN HOSPITALIZED AFTER COLLAPSING

11-11-2010, 6:00 pm, est - Pro Stock car driver Bob Glidden was transported to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center after the first round of qualifying at the Auto Club NHRA Finals. Glidden collapsed after climbing out of his Ford Mustang after the first pass of the weekend, hitting his head on the pavement.

Glidden was transported to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center to received treatment for a cut on his head.
