“Scott has been a good friend of mine for years,” said Andy Carrier.  “He is a businessman who brings another set of eyes and new ideas regarding sponsorships.”

“I think it’s a great advantage to have Scott as a partner,” added Mark Carrier.  “He brings a new outlook that we will be able capitalize on.”

McClenathan said Griffin “makes our team stronger.”

“I saw the vision the Carriers and Cory have for the sport and am pleased to be a part of it,” said Griffin.  “I just want to fit into the mix.”

Griffin also owns a Top Fuel team and plans to run 14 NHRA races this year with driver Scott Weis.
