NEW POWERS WEBSITE

In an effort to keep up with the always-evolving online world, David Powers Motorsports has re-launched its website, www.davidpowersmotorsports.com. The new fan-friendly site features a modern look and includes many elements that racing fans and web users will enjoy.

The site was designed by Michael Clark of Blue C Studios located in Houston, and executed and coded by Todd Sharp of URI Technology, also in Houston. The new David Powers Motorsports site features a variety of elements that drag racing fans across the globe will enjoy, including detailed biographies on drivers Whit Bazemore and Rod Fuller. The site also houses blogs from Fuller and former Top Fuel driver/clutch specialist Doug Foxworth, and a vast photo library with many photos of Bazemore and the Matco Tools team and Fuller’s ultra-quick rail. There also is a link dedicated to the Matco Tools Iron Eagle Club hospitality area that includes photos from each event and highlights the Matco Tools distributors of the race.

“Function is always first in our thinking when we approach the concept for any site, particularly sites that have a lot of components like the Powers site,” said Michael Clark, Principal of Blue C Studios. “Our initial goal was to establish a strong identity for the drivers that carry with it the excitement of drag racing, followed by a clear hierarchy of sponsorship elements and accessible navigation. In the end, we want the user to experience our key elements in a memorable way.”

“We are please with the outcome of the new website,” Powers added. “In today’s world, a company’s website speaks volumes, and we felt it was important for our fans and sponsors to have one of the best websites in all of drag racing. We feel we have accomplished that.”
