BE A CREWMAN FOR A DAY

Part-time IHRA Pro Stock and now Pro Street racer Art Hodges is ready to make a young fan’s dream come true by announcing the Hodges Custom Homes ‘Crewman for a Day’ promotion. The promotion will see a fan spend time working on the  Hodges Custom Homes / Strange Engineering supported Dodge Stratus at the upcoming West Coast Hot Rod Association Deeds Performance Summer Nationals presented by Holders Air Conditioning and Heating.

“We wanted to give a young fan the opportunity to see what running one of these Pro cars is really like,” Hodges said. “This is not going to be a stand back and watch scenario, we want the person to work with the team in all facets of what we do and really make it an experience that they will remember. In addition Ian Rae of HeadsUpRacer.com and Paul Schmitz of Reflections of Motorsport Photography will be there recording the event for posterity and will present our ‘Crewman’ with a CD full of memories. In addition, they will be interviewed by the voice of the ADRL, Al Tucci, who will be announcing the last two WCHRA events. I am excited about being able to do this for the fans. Drag racing for them is about the experience, being able to expand that experience for one young fan is something I am pleased that we are able to do.”
