BOHR TO BEGIN 2008 SEASON WITH BAR'S LEAKS

Veteran NHRA Top Alcohol Dragster driver Jeff Bohr will once again fly the Bar's Leaks colors in 2008 as he kicks off the season during this weekend's Division 3 opener at O'Reilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis.  After spending much of last season testing experimental parts, Bohr has shifted his focus to 'racing' in 2008.

Bohr, from Plymouth, Mich., with his brother Gary, who serves as Crew Chief, became one of the few Blown Alcohol Dragsters to eclipse the 270 mph mark last season.  With Bar's Leaks and associate sponsor Magnaflux back on board, Bohr plans to make a run on the Division 3 title and a strong national finish. "It's a real big boost for us to have Bar's Leaks back on board," said Bohr.  "I can't thank them enough for their support of our team.  They are a great bunch of people there.  We also have Magnaflux back on board.  Our plan is to run twelve races - six national and six divisional, then see where we go from there."

"Everything is the same as we left off in Atlanta last year," Bohr continued.  "Last year we tested a lot of experimental parts.  This year, we're not testing.  We're showing up to just race.  We made a lot of gains last year testing, this year we hope to reap the benefits of that testing.  Race and go rounds is our goal.  Hopefully we can put this car in a few winner's circles for Bar's Leaks and Magnaflux."

While some of his competition in the Top Alcohol Dragster category may have already ran this year, this weekend will be the first outing for the Bar's Leaks team.

"This will be the first run out of the box for us," stated Bohr.  "The car ran good in Atlanta, which was our last race, so hopefully we can pick up where we left off."
