The Bad Apples Shine...
When the Budano/Shafiroff
trailer rolled into Memphis Motorsports Park
for the NMCA World Street
Finals the championship was all but locked up.
Driver Vinny Budano
readjusted his sights on winning his third consecutive race,
no small feat given the
level of competition in the NMCA Pro Street ranks.
When qualifing was
completed the Bad Apple team had secured the number
one spot for the fifth
time this season with a 6.42 at 219 mph.
On race day a final round defeat of Troy
Coughlin in a tight 6.47 to 6.51 bout
gave Vinny his second
consecutive NMCA pro/street world championship.
