"What's really cool about the annual SoffSeal Show 'n Shine at the Reunion is the diversity of vehicles," said Tony Thacker, executive director of the nonprofit Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum, which produces and benefits from the event.

"It has everything from rat rods like Charlie Haas' '29 Model A Roadster pickup to Larry Johnston's highly modified custom '50 Chevy hardtop. You couldn't get more extreme than those two wildly different vehicles. In between there is everything from Jake Andrews' '58 Chevy Cameo pickup to Frank Butler's '64 Galaxie from Florence, Ky. There is indeed, something for everybody. I expect competition will be super tough this year with the special invite to Indy and the Daniels trophy up for grabs."
