NHRA Pro Stock Car Driver Tom Hammonds is the inaugural feature for the new "Cool Jobs" section in the collector's edition of Ebony  - The 25 Coolest Black Men of All Time.

Making its debut in the August 2008 issue, the "Cool Jobs" section will appear monthly in the magazine and will spotlight African Americans who make a living doing interesting, nontraditional jobs.

Making its debut in the August 2008 issue, the "Cool Jobs" section will appear monthly in the magazine and will spotlight African Americans who make a living doing interesting, nontraditional jobs.  

"I grew up reading Ebony [magazine], and it is an honor to be included in the August issue dedicated to the top 25 coolest black men with eight different covers and to be the first "Cool Jobs" section spotlight," said an excited and nostalgic Hammonds. "As I always tell people, if you get a good education, work hard, and have faith, you can achieve anything. This is my motto in life that allows me to be able to work such a cool job."

"I know all eight covers will be collector's items, and I will be in each is just outstanding and makes me really proud."

For the first time ever, Ebony magazine presents not one, not two, but eight quintessential covers to celebrate the 25 coolest Black men of all time. Jay-Z, Barack Obama, Prince, Samuel L. Jackson, Denzel Washington, Marvin Gaye, Muhammad Ali and Billy Dee Williams take center stage as they personify Black cool on the covers of this historic collector's edition.
