Guidera said there are some prospects for a showing at the NHRA U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis.

“We’re doing everything we can to secure funding,” Guidera said. “We’re looking and some stuff is on the table, but nothing in the pocket yet.”

Guidera admitted this decision was made purely on what was best for the team at the time.

“If I can’t get enough money to make it worth my while to run at the Countdown to the Championship races, then I need to concentrate on my program,” Guidera admitted. “We just don’t have the resources. It’s just so tough and I don’t want to give up many of my parts to run an under-funded program.”
