Bob Gilbertson, owner/driver of the Tradicion Azul Tequila nitro Funny Car, has joined forces with the Homewood Suites by Hilton Charlotte-University for his return to NHRA competition at the Inaugural Carolinas Nationals at the new zMAX Dragway in near-by Concord, N.C.

 

Located just six miles from zMAX Dragway, the Homewood Suites by Hilton is right in the middle of the University entertainment district and is in walking distance to dozens of restaurants and night clubs.

Gilbertson and his team will also be hosting a special "Nitro Blast-Off" pre-race reception at the hotel on Thursday evening, September 11th from 7 to 9 PM for NHRA fans and guests where fans can meet Bob and his crew and see the Tradicion Azul Tequila Funny Car up close in a relaxed atmosphere that promises to be a lot of fun and a great warm up for the exciting Inaugural NHRA Carolinas Nationals.
