"The marketing partnership started out the fifth race of the 2007 season and has turned out to be a great relationship between Mohegan Sun, my family, and Brian and Linda Bozsum of Mohegan Sun Racing," said Guidera. "We have made huge strides in our program since joining together, and we are already planning to come out in the 2009 season with even a better program. Our family is very proud to again be flying the colors of one of the premier destination resorts in the world, the Mohegan Sun Resort."

"We couldn't be happier with the progress and for the relationship between Mohegan Sun and Rocklin Motorsports," said team manager Brian Bozsum. "Matt has proven to be a great championship rider and one of the best racers on the NHRA circuit. My wife and I can honestly say that we feel like family with the Guideras, which is a great thing considering the amount of time that's spent racing a full season. We wish to send a special thank-you to Matt's father, Vic Guidera, brother, Len Guidera, and engine builder Steve Serusette for all of the hard work they do to keep us running down the track.

"We've had to make some serious cutbacks at our casino property due to the current economic issues Americans are facing today. Some of these cutbacks involve our team budget as well. Still, the overall outlook has been positive in regard to the media value that the NHRA still possesses for our resort property. As the economy recovers and businesses begin to stabilize in our economy, growth will return, and we believe that corporate sponsors in the NHRA will be the benefactors."
