Round three of the 2022- 23 Australian Top Fuel Championship, The Summernats Slam scheduled for October 1 and 2nd at Heathcote Park Raceway, Victoria his been postponed.

“There are a number of factors behind the decision,” according to series promotor Andy Lopez. “Including heavy wet weather in the last month, with even more forecast for the next couple of weeks leading to the event.”  

HPR previously hosted a round of the ATFC in May 2022.

“The decision to postpone was not made lightly. The Slam show is much bigger than our May event and with the rain and other pressures we all need more time to be ready to stage a full field of Top Fuel, Doorslammer, Pro Mod, Pro Stock and Sportsman categories.”

Spectators and entrants will receive a full refund including booking fees over the next week and we’ll announce a time that we can return to HPR as soon as we can.” 

The next event on the ATFC series is at the Perth Motorplex W.A. on November 11 and 12.
