BRITTANY FORCE'S DRAGSTER SPORTING MARK CHRISTOPHER AUTO CENTER AS PRIMARY SPONSOR FOR POMONA

Mark Christopher Auto Center Chevrolet likely won’t have any Top Fuel dragsters for sale on its showroom floor in Ontario, CA, this week. But what they will have is their logo prominently adorning the side of a two-time Top Fuel championship-winning fueler rocking down the In-N-Out Pomona Dragstrip.

Force also carries primary backing from Monster Energy drink, but this weekend, the focus is on a local company that has supported John Force Racing for many years.

“It’s an honor and a pleasure to support and be part of John Force Racing,” said Mark Christopher Auto Center Chevrolet president Chris Leggio, a longtime JFR friend and supporter. “And we’re especially excited to be more involved with Brittany and her dynamic team of professionals.”

Mark Christopher Auto Center Chevrolet, which has been serving Southern California communities for nearly 50 years, prides itself on being one of the state’s largest and most trusted auto dealerships. The dealership was started by Charles and Shirley Leggio in 1975.

If there’s a racetrack to be a Force partner, it’s the one in Pomona, where she has a good history, having clinched both of her championships there, and comes into the second stop on the NHRA Mission Foods tour with the momentum of a final round finish in the Pep Boys All-Star Callout.

Pomona was also the place where she established a national mph record in 2022.

“Going into Pomona, we need to see better results on race day, and in order to do that, we need to make more consistent runs; we need to qualify top five and go some rounds on race day,” Force said. “We’d like to win this thing.

“It’s Pomona, and I’ve won there in the past. This David Grubnic (crew chief) team set the national mph record there back in 2022 at 338.94 mph. So we have been successful on this track. We just need to kind of regroup and get back on track.”
