JOHN FORCE MOVED FROM TRAUMA INTENSIVE CARE FACILITY TO NEURO INTENSIVE CARE UNIT

The latest report from John Force Racing [JFR] provides more insight into what the 17-time drag racing world champion faces following his violent crash on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at the NHRA Virginia Nationals outside of Richmond, Va.

JFR confirmed Force has moved from the trauma intensive care unit to the neuro intensive care unit, where the medical team can focus on his head injury, which is their primary concern.

Force's family has been by his side since the incident.

Unanimously supported by her family, team, and sponsors, Brittany Force will sit out this weekend's Summit Racing Equipment Nationals in Norwalk, Ohio. Instead, she will remain at the hospital with her family in solidarity with her father.

Austin Prock will fly the torch with JFR's AAA Chevrolet Camaro SS team this weekend.

The Force Family expressed their gratitude for the medical staff who are daily caring for John Force and for the overwhelming number of heartfelt messages of prayer, support, and concern.

The team statement added, "Thank you for continuing to respect the privacy of the family and John Force Racing team members."
