Top Fuel owner-driver Terry McMillen was unhurt following a massive engine explosion in his Amalie Oil Dragster in Sunday’s opening round of the NHRA New England Nationals at Epping, N.H.
 
The fiery detonation, which came as McMillen was racing against Scott Palmer, littered both lanes and caused a lengthy delay.
 
The cause of the incident isn’t immediately known.
