RUPERT INKS SONOMA SPONSORSHIP WITH ICE RECOVERY + WELLNESS

ICE Recovery + Wellness, a premier recovery solutions provider, has joined forces with Funny Car driver Jason Rupert as the primary sponsor for the DENSO NHRA Sonoma Nationals at Sonoma Raceway from July 28-30. Rupert and his dedicated volunteer crew have diligently prepared for the event since his last appearance in April at the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals.

Rupert's Ford Mustang will transform with a new wrap courtesy of Ultimate Design to mark this exciting partnership. ICE Recovery + Wellness, located in San Diego's Carmel Valley, offers a range of sought-after recovery modalities, including cryotherapy, infrared sauna, Normatec compression, IV nutrition, and EMSculpt NEO for fat loss and muscle building.

Brad Chapman, the owner of ICE Recovery + Wellness, emphasized the importance of proper recovery and nutrition for athletes and drivers who regularly subject their bodies to extreme G-forces. Chapman anticipated seeing Rupert's 11,000-horsepower ICE Funny Car in action, adding, "We can't wait to see the 11,000-horsepower ICE Funny Car on the track in Sonoma."

Rupert has enjoyed a successful season so far, qualifying in both appearances and achieving a personal milestone of entering the 3-second zone with a 3.998-second blast. As a three-time NHRA Heritage Series Nostalgia Funny Car champion, Rupert aims to continue his early season success by posting even quicker times and securing more round wins.

Reflecting on his preparations for the upcoming event, Rupert expressed his enthusiasm, saying, "It's been a lot of work since last time between getting another body ready, so we have a spare, servicing parts from the last two races, and getting new Boninfante parts for our clutch program." He expressed gratitude to ICE Recovery + Wellness for supporting him and for the opportunity to compete at Sonoma Raceway, one of the premier venues in motorsports.

Assisting Rupert in his racing endeavors is renowned tuner Rahn Tobler, whose experience and guidance have proven invaluable. Rupert expressed his gratitude for Tobler's involvement.

"Racing at this level is a big learning curve," Rupert said. "He is really good at communicating to everybody what needs to be done. We want to take full advantage of the opportunity to keep getting better."

Apart from ICE Recovery + Wellness, Rupert's sponsors include Alliance Companies, Lucas Oil, J.S. Easterday Construction, Music for Young Minds Foundation, MAC Speed Shop, Shell Roofing Solutions, CP-Carrillo, TMS Titanium, Bryant Racing, GRP Connecting Rods, Boninfante Friction, Manley, Atlas Testing, and Littlefield Blowers.
