'Tis the season of Christmas when joy is spread, and gifts are shared.
In the world of drag racing fans, there aren’t a ton of readily available themed toys to give.
As such through the power of the internet and Google, there are many of drag racing items to explore. Most now are some type of collector’s items and they are not available on the shelves of department stores.
CompetitionPlus took a dive into finding drag racing-related items to allow fans to take a trip down memory lane and who knows some of these may be a possible Christmas gift for this year or beyond.

This stunning new Pro Stock Camaro is the latest creation by the team at RJ Race Cars and Quarter-Max. Built for owner Mark Stockseth of Stockseth Racing, this machine will host the seat for NHRA Pro Stock Champion Bo Butner and his return to competition in 2022.
The 11-time Pro Stock event winner will be back on the full tour for NHRA’s 2022 Camping World Drag Racing Series through a partnership with Johnson’s Horsepowered Garage (JHG) and Elite Motorsports.

It's race day at the Lions Drag Strip located in Long Beach, Ca. Qualifying is complete, now it's time to begin the process of eliminating down for a winner at the Red Line Oil SuperNationals, Race 3 of 9 in the Virtual Reality Hot Rod Association.

For those new to this fantasy world, this is how it works. The race with the most votes advances to the next round. We had two days of voting to seed the eight-car fields.

The most decorated Top Fuel driver in NHRA history is set to make his highly-anticipated return to the dragstrip in 2022, and with the help of Scag Power Equipment, Tony Schumacher is ready to mow down the competition and make a bid for a category-best ninth series title.
Scag Power Equipment, an industry leader in commercial riding, stand-on, and walk-behind lawn mowers, has joined forces with the fan-favorite driver who announced in October that he would be returning to the Don Schumacher Racing stable to compete on the NHRA Camping World Series circuit full-time in 2022. Scag joins DSR as a primary partner where it will have top billing on Schumacher’s 11,000-horsepower machine at five events during the 2022 season. Additionally, Scag will serve as a co-primary supporter at six races, sharing equal branding space with the Maynard family, who joined drag racing’s winningest organization at the start of the 2021 season, and later announced they would be expanding their relationship to become one of Schumacher’s primary backers in 2022.

The Top Sportsman driver of the Litens/NGK/Magnuson Camaro said it’s time to discard the term “sportsman” when referring to the racers in his class and those in the nine other Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series categories.
He said racers in the Top Alcohol Dragster, Top Alcohol Funny Car, Top Dragster, Super Comp, Super Gas, Super Street, Competition Eliminator, Super Stock, and Stock classes deserve recognition for the professional-grade efforts they put into their operations.
They’re “Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series” drivers. And that’s how he’d like for them to be described.

Fire up your computers, call your friends. It's time for the third season of the Virtual Reality Hot Rod Association; the race series created out of a pandemic.
So, how does this work?
Each event features the top 20 finishers, plus a champion provisional if necessary, of the previous season in a ballot where your votes determine qualifying and race results, and inevitably series championships. Since we are fantasy drag races, we can stage the events at any facility we choose, regardless of whether the track exists or not.
The top eight qualifiers advance to final eliminations, where your votes determine the race winners.
This week we are at Lions Dragway, the old track which closed down in the early 1970s has been magically reopened.
